Fill against Fiorentina in a friendly football match

Ski champion captain of Alpe di Siusi Team

KASTELRUTH - The ski champion Peter Fill played with Alpe di Siusy Team against Fiorentina last Saturday at 17,30 in Kastelruth, near Bolzano.
Alpe di Siusi is a team whose members are local personalities of the area. Among the sportsmen are ski champions such as the captain, Peter Fill, native of Kasteruth, three times second in World Cup, the best Italian allround skier.
Fill was an good football player before starting his skiing career.
The ball was kicked off by the Italian skier Denise Karbon, third in the giant slalom of the last world championship in Aare, Sweeden.
The Romanian star of Fiorentina Adrian Mutu, complained that the undaunted South Tyrolean skier played too tough, even though Peter didn’t think so.
The match ended 13-0 in favour of Fiorentina.
