Peter Fill is back on track
World Vice Champion at the charity event “6 wheels of Hope”
It's been more than 2 months since the brutal injury of the Italian skier in Patagonia, the crutches are now left behind and Peter is back on track. Unfortunately not on the snow slopes of the Ski World Cup, which are still far away, but on the asphalt of the circuit of Monza, a few kilometers away from the medical center where he is going through rehabilitation.
This year, for the third consecutive time, Peter Fill did not miss an opportunity to participate in the charity event "6 wheels of Hope", which has celebrated its 23rd edition at the historic Monza Autodrome.
The event, organized by U.I.L.D.M. (the Italian Union for the Fight against Muscular Dystrophy) in collaboration with the U.I.C. (Italian Union of the Blind) and sponsored by the city of Monza, offered an opportunity for many people with disabilities to spend a day aboard a beautiful sports car and enjoy the thrill of an unforgettable ride around one of the most famous circuits in the world.
In an R8 that Audi Italia provided for “6 wheel of hope”, Peter made numerous laps in order to satisfy as many participants as possible:
“6 wheels of hope has become a key event for me. The possibility of giving some moments of happiness to this people motivates me to return every year and it brings me a lot of joy. I hope that all those aboard were able to enjoy the sensation that a lap around this track can give. I would have liked to drive a little longer, but time flies when you're on track!” - Peter commented at the end of the day.
