The spectacular images of Peter Fill’s fall at the Olympic superG – season finished!
For the fans of Peter and alpine skiing aficionados alike, we are offering this amazing series of photos of Peter’s fall so close to the finish line of the Vancouver Olympic superG. With only 4 gates in front of him, his time was better than Aksel Lund Svindal’s, who has won the race in the end. Unfortunately his physical shape was not on its best level due to the grave injury that happened in summer, and the accumulated fatigue caused the fall in such close vicinity of the finish line.
Luckily, Peter has not suffered any further injuries, nevertheless, as he notes himself:
“The fall caused me some nagging pain in the back, so you won’t see me at the World Cup races this season any more. I will focus directly on the preparation for the next.”
